*An artist’s proof (AP) is a object that is produced specifically for the artist in addition to an edition. For the artist, the artist’s proofs are important not only for archival reasons, but also to be able to show works at exhibitions. Some collectors prefer these objects because they can be considered special due to their different numbering.
